Dedi was recently in the news in Israel in a strange incident, reportedly being involved in passing envelopes of money to Bibi via Bibi's driver. Police looked into it and said there is no story, nothing happened.

The driver, who had received the money, said that Bibi had not been involved in the incident that led to the investigation, and knew nothing about it. His sister, he said, was a widow and had been in in bad financial shape. Dedi, being an acquaintance of the sister, wanted to help her, and passed along some money via her brother, the driver. It was just a kind act by Dedi and nothing to do with Bibi.
