Just the other day it was publicized that there is a molester riding the 418 bus from Bet Shemesh to Jerusalem, and he preys on young teens.

The police have worked quickly and today they have announced that they have arrested the perpetrator. The suspect is 30 years old.

To date only one formal complaint has been registered with the police, and they call upon anyone else who was a victim to register their complaints. They say they know there are a lot more victims. The arrest came about as a result of a thorough investigation and cooperation with residents of the city.

By saying they had the cooperation of residents of the city I suspect he was "turned in" by his neighbors. I think that means it is not likely the crazies of that neighborhood will go to bat for him, at least not in a significant way (they might still provide some lip service), and organize violent protests to get him released from jail.
